The Batten University men's soccer team scored twice in the final six minutes to earn a 2-2 draw against N.C. Wesleyan. Batten moved to 1-0-4 on the season, while N.C. Wesleyan moved to 2-2-2.
Cowen Napior and David Nalls each scored for the Marlins, while Cameron Talbert and Rodrigue Moussa recorded assists. Adrian Najarro played all 90 minutes in goal and finished with one save.
N.C. Wesleyan scored twice in the opening 12 minutes to take a 2-0 lead into halftime. Batten answered late, with Napior scoring in the 85th minute off a Talbert assist before Nalls tied the match just 28 seconds later on an assist from Moussa.
The Marlins finished with a 14-4 advantage in shots and put six attempts on goal. Batten also held N.C. Wesleyan to just two shots in each half.
