The Batten University Men's Soccer team has been selected fifth in the 2026 ODAC Men's Soccer Preseason Poll.

The Marlins received 79 points in the poll following another strong campaign under head coach Shane Kohler. Batten finished the 2025 season with a 12-6-1 overall record and a 6-3 mark in ODAC play, earning a spot in the ODAC Tournament and later competing in the ECAC Championship.

The 12-win season marked the program's fifth consecutive year with double-digit victories.

Batten also saw several players earn postseason recognition in 2025. Five Marlins received All-ODAC honors, while Aaron Deans, Zach Bittler and Josh Nevins were named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region teams. Bittler added another major honor after being named the ECAC Offensive Player of the Year.

The Marlins enter the 2026 season looking to build on last year's success and once again position themselves among the top teams in the ODAC.
