Hannah Hearl was named the NFCA Division III National Pitcher of the Year, Hearl turned in one of the most dominant pitching seasons in collegiate softball. The junior right-hander posted a 26-1 record with a 0.55 ERA across 140.2 innings while striking out 203 batters and limiting opponents to a .115 batting average. The ODAC Pitcher of the Year and NFCA Region VI Pitcher of the Year recorded seven shutouts during the season, including a perfect game in NCAA Tournament play, helping anchor a Virginia Wesleyan pitching staff that led the nation with a 0.68 ERA.
