Brittaney Brown Kovacs established herself as a dominant presence in the circle, earning First Team All-Region honors in 2010 and becoming the ODAC’s first two-time Pitcher of the Year in 2008 and 2010. A three-time All-ODAC selection, she garnered First Team honors in 2008 and 2010 and Second Team honors in 2009, while also being named to the ODAC All-Tournament Team twice. Her 2010 season was particularly impressive, posting a 1.02 ERA that ranks among the finest single-season performances in program history. At the conclusion of her career, Brown Kovacs stood as the ODAC and program career record holder in innings pitched (612.1), wins (69), and strikeouts (581), while ranking third in conference history with 20 shutouts and sixth with a 1.42 career ERA. She also concluded her career ranked second in program history in appearances (105) and first in saves (5), cementing her legacy as one of the most accomplished pitchers in ODAC softball history.
