Batten University Women's Soccer has been picked to finish second in the 2026 ODAC Women's Soccer Preseason Poll.
The Marlins received 126 points and one first-place vote, finishing behind defending conference champion Washington and Lee, which earned 144 points and 12 first-place votes.
Batten enters the 2026 season following another strong campaign under head coach Jeff Bowers. The Marlins finished 15-4-3 overall and 8-1-1 in ODAC play in 2025, advancing to the ODAC Championship game and earning the program's 16th appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament.
The Marlins also collected several individual honors throughout the 2025 season. Six student-athletes earned All-ODAC recognition, while Grayson Yeager, Shyenne Diaz and Victoria Mills were named United Soccer Coaches All-Region selections. Six Marlins also earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors.
With a veteran group returning from last year's conference championship and NCAA Tournament team, the Marlins enter 2026 once again positioned among the top contenders in the ODAC.
