Batten University women's soccer remained unbeaten on Saturday, battling Mary Washington to a 0-0 draw. The result moved the Marlins to 4-0-2 on the season, while Mary Washington moved to 4-1-1.
The Marlins created several opportunities throughout the opening half. Kaylyn Seitz put an attempt on goal in the 22nd minute before Alaina Alston sent a header just wide. Courtney Mills added another shot on frame later in the half, but Batten was unable to break through.
Batten continued to apply pressure after halftime. Seitz produced two more chances early in the second half, including an attempt that forced a save in the 58th minute. The Marlins also earned a pair of late corner kicks as they searched for the go-ahead goal.
On the other end, Allie Greco kept Mary Washington off the board with three saves to secure the clean sheet. Greco came up with her final stop in the 87th minute to preserve the scoreless draw.
